Preview, rename and download. All in one place.
Make a PNG copy of a WebP graphic for editors and image libraries that need PNG. This page preserves original dimensions by default and keeps decoded transparent pixels. PNG can be useful for subsequent editing, but exporting it does not restore detail lost in a lossy WebP and can increase file size.
How it works
- Choose the WebP images needed for your PNG workflow.
- The page starts at original dimensions with PNG output locked. Adjust dimensions or quality when needed, then use Apply & re-compress for existing files.
- Compare the ready preview with the original and download individual PNG files or the batch ZIP.

Frequently asked questions
Will transparent WebP edges stay transparent in PNG?
Yes, for a standard conversion without a platform size preset. Platform presets deliberately place the complete image on a white canvas, so leave Platform size set to Custom size when you need transparency.
How do I choose PNG quality?
Use Smart compression for checked color reduction, or Keep exact pixels for lossless encoding after your chosen edits. PNG uses these two modes instead of a JPEG-style quality slider. Large images and failed quality checks use lossless encoding.
Are my WebP images uploaded for conversion?
No. The converter decodes, encodes and creates ZIP downloads on your device. Large images and batches still need sufficient local memory.
Can I rename all my PNG downloads?
Yes. Keep original names, add a prefix, or choose a custom name plus number. The rule applies to individual downloads and the ZIP. Downloaded files use the actual exported format's extension.
